This famous place, where several scenes for the “Mamma Mia!” movie were shot back in 2007, still remains the same and unspoilt. The setting is about 1,5 km away from Agnontas small port.

Located on the West side of the island along a dirt track (off the main road to Agnontas), the coastline of Amarandos consists of small, isolated rocky coves with turquoise waters – ideal for both snorkeling and swimming.

It was a hot day but the scenery was worth it. Walking to the cove from the dirt road, looking at the view of Agnontas cove and the three trees which remain to this day.
