We had snow in Athens for the first time this year, could not resist and went out for a snow walk, downtown. Heavy snow has covered all Athens, it was very nice to walk out on a day like that. Unfortunately a lot of people were forced to stay in their cars in other parts of Athens, my heart goes to them.
If you enjoy night walks, this Athens snow storm was not usual. I recorded two Snow Storm sounds of thunder (could this be a snowstorm sounds for sleep?). I really liked this night snow walk, snow was falling during most of my night walk.
Found it easier to walk in the snow than on the sidewalks, which if it rains or snows are very slippery. Have a look at the chapters below to see and hear this unique phenomenon.
